Food Handler Training
Regulations alone do not make our food safe, people do! Food borne illnesses affect everyone and it is your responsibility to prevent illnesses from occurring. We need to educate all employees to identify potential food safety hazards.
The Food Handler Training course, an independent study program, will give your employees the tools they need to exceed current--and future--food handling regulations. This program will empower your staff with the skills necessary to play a leading role in implementing food safety practices.
This course meets Ontario Meat Regulation 31/05 requirement as a formal course on food handling that is acceptable to a director. The regulation requires that at least one supervisor in attendance at the plant has received training in hygienic food handling.
