Assessment Services

OIMP offers Meat Plant Assessment Services, free of charge to assist meat plants with the transition to the new meat regulation (O. Reg. 31/05 of the Food Safety and Quality Act, 2001).

The Assessment Services are designed to assist meat processing establishments by clearly identifying gaps between the individual plants current operation and the new regulatory requirements.  In addition, the services will provide cost estimates for any changes individual plants may need to make in order to meet the new regulation.

Applicants are encouraged to submit an application to the Meat Plant Assessment Services as soon as possible. Applications will be processed on a first come first serve basis.
